Where Every Life Matters

Empty Tomb Ministries was founded by Pastor Bob McClelland, who is dedicated to spreading the truth of the gospel to all who are willing to listen. Never again will that tomb in Jerusalem hold the Son of God! And because Jesus lives, every word He spoke, and every promise He gave, can be fulfilled in each of our lives today. Jesus made it very clear in His Great Commission: He told us to “GO and make disciples of all nations.” This was not a suggestion, but a command. At Empty Tomb Ministries, God has opened many doors to go and share the truth of the Gospel with a lost and dying world.

The Great Commission

Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20

Our Mission

To go and make disciples of all nations, in the name and the power of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our Vision

ETM is committed to proclaim, challenge, encourage and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the nations.
  • Your passion may not be a pleasure you pursue, it may be a call you are anointed to fulfill.
  • There is no victory without the battle.
  • We must view our sufferings of this life through the lens of God’s divine authority and purpose.
  • God uses everyday events, both good and bad, to shape our lives for his glory.
  • God must work in us before he works through us.
  • What you believe will determine how you live your life.
  • Waiting on the Lord is the hardest part of trusting.
  • We are not who we used to be.
  • We are called to carry the torch of truth … God’s Word!
  • Today’s choices become tomorrow’s chains.
  • Our past does not need to be our future.
  • Each of us has a world we influence.
  • We learn more about our character by our response to failure than anything else.

Church Planting in Africa

Jesus said that He was going to build His church on earth. The church is very important to Him and should be important to us as well. I have had the privilege of teaming with pastors in Uganda to plant many churches in villages where there has never been a church before.

Jail and Prison Ministries

We all have sinned and done wrong in our lives, and yes there are consequences for our actions. God has opened the doors for me to share in places like this, and opened the hearts of the inmates as they find grace and forgiveness in their time of need.

What's New

Kivu Hills Medical Center

Kivu Hills Medical Center
Boneza, Rwanda

We are so excited about our new healthcare program, which will be housed under the roof of Kivu Hills Medical Center. It all started with the idea of a small day clinic. As days went by, more people got involved and, before we knew it, we have now completed much of the work of this 50,000 square foot medical center in the hills of Boneza. KHMC is constructed on four acres of land near the campus of Kivu Hills Academy at the cost of 2 million dollars. Its central location will provide access to millions of people in the surrounding regions.

Boneza, Rwanda 2025 Presentation

What a blessing it was to be back in Boneza on my recent ministry trip. It was an action-packed 10 days of ministry as God touched many lives. It is always a great honor to go back and spend time with the wonderful people of Boneza. I have the privilege to serve on the Arise Rwanda Ministries board of directors and to be very engaged in the ministry we are doing there. I have put together a presentation of my latest visit with many great pictures of all that God did during my journey. I hope you enjoy!
